Public Meeting of the Financial Literacy and Education Commission The next public meeting of the Financial Literacy and Education Commission will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time at the Department of the Treasury in Washington, D.C. The meeting will include updates on recent financial capability research by member federal agencies and a discussion on retirement savings and the young. Registration & Deadline Registration will close on Thursday, May 22, 2014 or once registration reaches a capacity of 170 attendees. To register, attendees will need to provide a full name, date of birth and Social Security Number. For entry into the building on the date of the meeting, attendees must present a government-issued ID, such as a driver's license or passport, which includes a photo.
